Work of a housewife in past

Last week I visited with my family the open air Museum of Ballenberg in Switzerland.
When I had to do my laundry today I remembered how people had to work hard to get the wash clean.
It was a back-breaking work. To make a meal without electricity is today unthinkable.
Nice to see al the old traditional manner of work. The antique furnishing is gorgeous but !
I'm very happy that I live in the 21 century and have my modern kitchen.
