Old Scetch book

Yesterday I found on old sketch book from years ago. I always travel with pen and a small water color box.
This was on my first trip with Bert and Roos visiting Spain. In Benicasim we visited our friends Paquitta and Enrique.
This was the beach of Benicasim in autumn.
When I returned last there where much more high buildings and all is quilt changed. I gas that this first 2 pictures was done 1988.



The 2 sketches under was in spring 1989 on Madeira , Island of Portugal in the Atlantic.
On Madeira is eternal spring. A vulcan base host a wonderful vegetation.
The rain makes it tropical with a lot of endemic orchids.
The whole island is one flower-garden.
