Valladolid

Plaza Mayor in Valladolid.
After it was recovered from the Islam-its in 1074 the town grows in important.

It was residence of the kings of Castilia. Here was king Ferdinand lll proclaimed for king. Here married Ferdinand and Isabella and died Christof Columbus.
Under Philip lll it was short time capital of Spain.





In these building is born Philip ll. it's part of the monastery St Pablo.
