The spirit of Domburg

Last week I spend some time with my nice in Domburg on the island Walcheren in the province Sealand Netherlands.
Domburg is on old seaside resort and was favorite spot of the European nobility.
Now a day its a small spot for a few people who like to stay in own country and like the beauty of the north sea.
It was 20 of june the day before sumer solstice.
The sunset was wonderful to watch, sitting on the bench of Mondrian, who stays long time in Domburg.
This shore is in my idea more the colors of pastels. the sand , the sea and the sky.
Wy did Mondrian come to this bright full colors?
In some moments the sky looks dark blue and the sea was for me the first time real blue.
Watching the tides and the flowers in the dunes, the seagulls and the trawlers, time flows like high and low tide.
There is a lot inspiration waiting to been drawn or work out for my art.
