A great felicitation . This is a wonderful show. The location is great and the presentation perfect.
There are 3 themes. The evolution and 10 years Quilt Art group and one project was Indigo.
We want to met Linda and Monique , Els and Lutgard.
We have met each other on quilt symposia's in Rolduc.
Via SAQA and Quilting Art in America we know each other.
It's strange in Europe with the Babylonian confusion of tongues.
With my friend Anita Welty - Germany we went yesterday to Orsmaal Belgium to give our presents to the show. It's not as far about 40 miles .
It sounds strange but in my area we speak tree different languages and we never met with France people. Two of this group members speak France. Wonderful artists but there was no change to meet and speak in one commune idiom.
We need Linda with English to let us communicate between German Dutch and France.
Now that we are sure we can speak english together the ice is broken.
We are lazy and don't take the change to go over the border and talk with our neighbors.
This must change in future.
May be this will have his origin in our history with may wars and fights. The border is a border and life stops there for most of people.
It's so funny to make this first steps and speak with french colleges.
My Netherlands group is much farer away than this group. I have to drive 2 hours to meet them.
Here 20 minutes away and never seen.
It rest me to tell that a was totally impressed by the work shown by this artists.
Of course I have always been a fan of Linda's work. But when you can see so much work together, well known work and new work, it make me a sleepless night and let me dream. Fantastic work of a great artist.
