Art and exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn

Paintings and Ikons of the Tretjakow-Galerie Moskow

Yesterday I have bee in Germany in a wonderful totally unexpected exhibition about Egypt's Sunken Treasures and a exhibition about Russians Soul .

The underwater archeologist Franck Goddio explored the seabed off the coast of the modern city of Alexandria in Egypt and in the Bay of Abukir for ten years and discovered magnificent artifacts of Egyptian history dating from 700 to 800 A.D.
this objects sank into the sea as a result of a series of natural disasters.
Monumental statues as well as coins, jewelry, and cult items were located with state-of the-art techniques and salvaged through years of hard, painstaking work. Legendary locations such as the ancient port of Alexandria with its royal quarters,
the long-lost city of Heraklion and remnants of the city of Kanopus have been rediscovered. Approximately 500 artefacts from these spectacular underwater excavations will be shown in Bonn till 06 january 2008
