Reception in Hyatt

Karey Besenhan invited SAQA and Journal Quilt members for a reception in the ballroom of the Hyatt on Friday evening.
That is a fantastic opportunity to meet each other. The festival is so huge that is nearly impossible to met someone on the show floor. I had been once before on such a reception in Lyon and I was not surprised that in Houston it was even exceptional.
There was my change to met my big friend Lisa Chipetine again. We know each other from a festival in France 2 years ago.
It's great so talk with members all over the world where otherwise you are talking in mails.
You know work of each other you read the daily mails.
Now so many names has a face.
